Today, we commemorated #WorldEnviornmentDay in collaboration with @unep & celebrated our global theme #OnlyOneEarth by creating an Urban Forest by way of filling up vacant space in an high rise residential building with plantation.
The purpose of this initiative is to recreate & restore biodiversity and co exist with birds and animals, as well as contribute to the reduction of heat waves which has massively borne upon us.

The astonishing diversity of life on earth, depends on our contribution.
Let this initiative be an example for all, and let’s all aim to create an urban forest or atleast plant a few saplings in/around our residential area, commercial building, on the streets, in the park.

Soil nutrient loss is a major soil degradation processes threatening nutrition and is recognized as being among the most important problems at a global level for food security and sustainability all around the globe. World Soil Day 2022 (#WorldSoilDay) and its campaign "Soils: Where food begins" aims to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining healthy ecosystems and human well-being by addressing the growing challenges in soil management, increasing soil awareness and encouraging societies to improve soil health. Today, our planet exhibits air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, soil pollution & overall destruction of our natural resources, Environment, greenery, sea's, etc..
whereas our planet should actually portray beauty- nature, wildlife, clear seas/oceans, starry skies, rainbows, Luminous water (when Algae blooms), seagulls by the seashore.
Mankind has taken mere advantage of the #OnlyOneEarth and are on the verge of depleting the her resources completely.
We are blessed with this planet which supports life. Our greed will make it uninhabitable. Let's come together & protect Mother Earth.
n collaboration with @unep , We at #PPAIndia are "Creating an #UrbanForest " which is our theme for #WorldEnviornmentDay2022 ! We are on a pursuit of restorating the devastation done to Mother Earth. Urban Forestation is a method by which we reduce carbon footprint by enhancing the green bank in urban areas by creating mini forests within a City.
The time has come for collective #ClimateAction Plan. The human race across the globel shall unite for the purpose of survival of the human race at the speed we are destroying our environment. Our purpose is to restore biodiversity & preserve our ecosystem because we have #OnlyOneEarth & it is our collective duty to work towards Nature Conservation & Ecosystem Restoration. If you hail in an urban area where the population density is high, the key to Nature Conservation is Urban Forestation.
Please detect your location on the above globe, analyse the population density in your location & if it is on the higher side, plan to create an Urban Forest. It is one of the easiest methods to restore nature & combat climate change. Together we can, together we will because we have #OnlyOneEarth & we will do whatever it takes to restore & preserve it for our future generations. 🌍

We are organising an event on 5th June 2022 wherein we will "Create an Urban Forest" in the mits of urban infrastructure to encourage biodiversity & citizens to create more such mini forests by infusing such green activities in urban areas. We have #OnlyOneEarth , let's preserve it.
This planet is our only home, which is on the verge of destruction due to climate change that worsens each year.
With major planetary crisis, we need to take urgent environmental action each one of us, collectively.
The Earth is what we all have in common.
So let our actions contribute to the protection of #OnlyOneEarth
Environment conservation requires not only individual actions but also like-minded individuals coming together to take action.
The 4 important ways to contribute towards Environment Conservation are as follows:
Volunteer (for tree plantation drives and clean ups, in your community)
Educate,
Use sustainable products,
Plant a tree,
Avoid single use plastic,
Save water.

Our common home, is at great risk at the moment. Rising temperatures has been the hot topic of 2022.
For instance, India has experienced the worst of the worst heat waves and humidity this year, especially in North India- Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab due to exponential increase in population, destruction of ecosystems and deforestation, destruction of marine ecosystems.
What climate actions can we take to protect and restore our common home?
There is #OnlyOneEarth & it is our duty to protect it.
World Environment Day is the biggest world event; that encourages
corporations, Businesses, government, schools, NGOs to act responsibly/consciously towards the protection of the environment. Held annually since 1974, on the 5th of June.
We at Planet for Plants and Animals (PPA India) have collaborated with UNEP, because we at PPA India believe that change is only brought about through awareness & ground work.
PPA’s core foundation is restoration of the environment for all living beings & the enhancement of biodiversity which humans have degraded over the years due to increase in population.
PPA works towards climate action by encouraging sustainability, plantation, beating plastic pollution, encouraging urban forestation, encouraging biodiversity through different methods.
We have #OnlyOneEarth what action would you take it to protect it?
Our theme, “Creating an Urban forest”, for the #OnlyOneEarth campaign in collaboration with @unep encourages to plant more (especially in cities where due to the increase in abundant infrastructure, there is nature loss) in order to create biodiversity and co-exist with birds and animals.
